Setting Table with Zazzle Party Plates

When it comes to entertaining I like to set my table with designer special  occasion plates.  Dinner parties with friends are always more special when you coordinate the table color theme with the plate.  Generally I set my holiday table the week before the event as a dressed table will add to the home decor theme.

For Thanksgiving select a pattern plates that matches your decor theme; copper colored leaves of the coleus, yellow mums or maple leaves are some pattern in which you can choose.  For the winter season you may choose a white snow theme or a Christmas or Hanuka theme.  In the spring and the summer choose a pattern that will compliment the season and your home theme.

Designer dinner plates are a great way to add a special touch to a birthday, anniversary or gathering with friends for an formal or informal dinner party.

Decorate your kitchen or dining room walls by displaying plates on plate rack or showcase them in china nook or on a shelf on the wall.  The lovely plates will become a focal area in the room.

Change out plates seasonally; spring, summer, fall and winter.  The plates will be a part of your home theme and will add to the ambiance of the room.

Here are a few of my home decor plates.  All were designed from my original photographs or digital paintings.  The dinner plant is 10 inches in diameter and is kid safe; drop and break resistant and dishwasher safe.
