Pretty Spring Pattern Fleece Blankets

Your family and pets will appreciate the warmth and the coziness of a spring season fleece blanket.  The spring season can be chilly and when nights are cold it's a good idea to have a spring fleece blanket on your sofa and your bed. 

It is also a good idea to have a basket of blanket for your family and friends to use while sitting outdoors. We all enjoy sitting by the firepit on a spring night but if it is cool, it is cozier wrapped in a fleece blanket.

My one niece has had her blanket for three years and I saw it a few months ago draped over the backside of her sofa and this blanket looked new. The colors in the floral pattern never faced and the blanket had a cozy feel.

Favorite Zazzle Ceramic Christmas Ornaments

Many people enjoy decorating their Christmas tree with ceramic ornaments. I am a satisfied customer who will continue shopping and buying ceramic ornaments for my Christmas tree yearly. The ceramic ornaments at Zazzle are a good way to create a keepsake memory for your holiday tree. The ornaments are just under 3 inches in diameter with a thickness of 0.156 and weigh 1.4 ounces. They are the perfect size for a 3 foot or taller tree. But I do not recommend using them on a small tabletop tree.

St Patrick's Day Party Essentials

I grew up Irish-American which meant that we always celebrated St. Patrick's Day. My mother was first-generation Irish in America and my grandparents came from Cork. My mother held onto her Irish heritage and prepared many Irish recipes throughout the year and always celebrated St. Patrick's Day by going to mass to be blessed, followed by an Irish breakfast, tea in the afternoon, and the Irish-American corned beef and cabbage with all the sides in the evening.

St. Patrick's Day was a day of cooking, joke-telling, dancing, and singing. A joyous time for wearing green. 

My mother never decorated the house with green streamers, shamrock stickers, or balloons. Instead, her decorations consisted of family photographs of her travels to her homeland and framed posters of Cork Ireland on the wall. The Irish party essentials were a green tablecloth, green classic paper plates, napkins, and mugs for Irish coffee.

When there are children in the home a bathroom that is decorated with Santa or Snowman sure looks cute but if your kids are grown or you are empty nesters you may desire poinsettia holiday prints that is festive and in good taste.

The poinsettia is the traditional flower of Christmas and blooms in a variety of colors; red, burgundy white and pink. The poinsettia bathroom accessories that I designed are burgundy flowers with dark green leaves and touches of white.

If your bathroom has a white theme this holiday print will look fabulous. Of course a cream or ivory will also be a lovely background color for the poinsettia pattern accessories.

Autumn is Blanket Weather

When you think of the autumn season you think of cool days and nights or warm days with cool nights. The weather in autumn can change in an hours time so one needs to be ready for anything, including having blankets on the bed and in the den.

Last night was definitely autumn blanket weather,  in fact, it was so cool that I shut the windows and put two fleece blankets on the bed. We did not turn on the furnace nor did we start a fire in wood burning stove. The fleece blankets  kept us warm and cozy on a cool autumn night.

 Zazzle.com came out with a fabric design tool that allows you to create craft fabrics from your photographs. Know that this is fantastic, especially if you want to coordinate fabric with your room theme.  If you want to sew up some throw pillows from the photo of your wildflower garden you can make the custom fabric by using the design tool at Zazzle

I love to sew and create home decorations.  So these craft fabrics are a must have as far as I am concerned.   I have not been this excited for a really long time. 

Before Zazzle fabrics, I had to drive two hours to a city to shop for my upholstery and craft fabrics and hated commuting on the two-lane highways to get to my destination.  So I stopped sewing and being creative.  But not anymore because Zazzle has made it possible for me to get exactly what I want and I can shop in the comfort of my home.
