Elegant Vintage Christmas Tree Home Decorations

If you are like me and love vintage Christmas tree home decorations then you will like my new holiday products.

The design features a vintage candlelit Christmas tree with a faux embossed white snowflake background. Then I added an element in dark green with a gold border to highlight the metallic gold text “Merry Christmas”. I really like how this design turned out and think that it will compliment Christmas tree-designed china like the one by Spode or Lennox.

Here is the vintage Christmas tree table runner.  I used it on my buffet.

Here is a photo of my table setting from last year. You can see that the Christmas tree design on the plate will look beautiful with the Christmas tree table runner (in the image above).

Know that many of the vintage Christmas tree product designs are templates so you can edit to personalize or to add your own graphics or photographs. You can also transfer the design to another product.

If you would like to view any of the products that are featured here in high resolution or a larger image then click the photo and you will be taken to the product that is located at my Zazzle store.

Snowman Holiday Decor

Many people decorate their homes for the winter holidays with snowman collectibles, figurines, and home accessories. The cheerful snowman is a remembrance of one's childhood, from building a snowman with the family during the winter season to watching “Frosty the snowman” during the holidays. People like snowmen and at Christmas, they will decorate their home for the season with their snowman collection.

I collect many things, first, it was Hallmark angels, then it was winter birds, and in the past two years I found that I loved snowmen.

Snowman decor for your holiday home by Sgolis

I started my snowman collections with an ornament that my husband bought me by Christopher Radko. Then he bought me a Lennox snowman figurine. Last year I found that I loved the country style snowmen by Jim Shore and this year I designed snowman home décor for the kitchen and living room at my Zazzle store

What I like about Zazzle is that the products are higher quality than what you can find at the mall. Plus I like that many of the snowman product designs are templates which allow me to personalize them with my own text or snowman photographs.

I have bought a few snowman-designed holiday products at Zazzle and have found that the colors are bright and precise. The ink used does not fade or appear to be dull. What you see on the website is what they ship you and if there is a problem they have the best customer service, a 30-day return policy.

Here are my top snowman picks for the Christmas holidays. If you like what you see then click on the highlighted text directly below the image. You will be taken to my store where you can view the snowman, learn more or buy.

Christmas Home Decor Ideas

I love a white Christmas theme for my home because it reminds me of the winter season and the forest. I think home decorations that consist of the colors of white, silver, and green are the perfect colors for a winter white Christmas theme. The white represents the snow, the silver the ice, and the green is the color of the fir trees that are in the forest.

I have hiked in the forest when the snow was on the ground and came to a clearing where the fir trees had a dusting of snow on the branches and in the clearing was a herd of deer. It was the perfect setting for an enchanted winter wonderland.

Know that when you decorate your living spaces or bedroom with a winter white theme that when Christmas is over you would take down your tree and pack up your ornaments.  However, you can leave your garland with pinecones on your mantle and centerpieces.  Leave the winter decorations up throughout the season and they will make your home feel cozy.

Here are a few products that I recommend for a white Christmas home.

Christmas Poinsettia Decorations for Bathroom

When there are children in the home a bathroom that is decorated with Santa or Snowman sure looks cute but if your kids are grown or you are empty nesters you may desire poinsettia holiday prints that is festive and in good taste.
Bathroom accessories designed by Sgolis and made by Zazzle.com

The poinsettia is the traditional flower of Christmas and blooms in a variety of colors; red, burgundy white and pink. The poinsettia bathroom accessories that I designed are burgundy flowers with dark green leaves and touches of white.

If your bathroom has a white theme this holiday print will look fabulous. Of course a cream or ivory will also be a lovely background color for the poinsettia pattern accessories.

When you decorate your bathroom with poinsettia pattern accessories; shower curtain, guest towels, soap and toothbrush holder and bath mat know that the color combination and pattern is one you can leave up until New Years Day because it is not the traditional Santa Claus print which should come down soon after Christmas Day.

Here are the poinsettia holiday products that I designed for the bathroom. If you are interested in viewing in high resolution at my store, click on the blue highlighted words. All products are made by Zazzle.com which means you will not find my designs at any other online or offline store. When you buy from zazzle you are supporting a designer and their small business.

Decorating Guest Bedroom for Christmas

This year I want to decorate my guest bedroom in red, green and white color scheme for the Christmas and the winter season. Since my husband and I enjoy nature and would like to add red holly berries, evergreen trees, pine cones and white to represent snow as my decorations for the guest bedroom.  I like the idea of winter decorations since I can leave them up after the Christmas season has ended.

Here is a Christmas bedroom set that I put together for one of my customers.  This set shows you how to decorate with a red and white color scheme.

One way to add Christmas to your bedroom is to buy a new bed ensemble or cover your bed with a solid color; red, green or white comforter that will complement your holiday color scheme.

I shopped online at amazon.com and found lovely quilt sets. Here is one I think will go well with my iron bed in the Victorian designed guest bedroom. This comforter has red berries, green balsam tree leaves on a white background. I really like this bed ensemble because of the pattern, I can leave it up throughout the winter season.

Accessorize the winter season bedroom by adding Christmas decorations. Set a mini Christmas tree for your nightstand or side table. Then instead of having a night light on you would light up the tree. The lights from the tree will create a Christmas ambiance.

Accessorize your bed with throw pillows. I have 4 on my bed as they are needed to support a sore back or for head support. Shop for a pattern that will go with your bed ensemble.  Here is a red accent pillow that I designed.  You may customize this pillow by adding your own graphics and words.

Winter Wonderland Christmas Decor Ideas

When it comes to decorating for Christmas I like to accent my blue living room with a winter wonderland theme.

Blue is a cool color and thus it is the perfect color to represent the cold days of winter.  The white color that I use represents the ice and the snow.   Along with these colors I like to add clear glass or crystal prisms and ornaments to reflect the light in my living room.

The blue and white wonderland theme is a nice background for the balsam tree and is stunning for a white seasonal decorations.  Here are a few winter wonderland Décor Designs  that I created from my photographs.  You will also view decor items from other artists at zazzle that I recommend.

For your Christmas Kitchen

Decorate your kitchen with this pastel blue winter kitchen towel.  This towel is so eye appealing that you will not want to hide in a drawer.  Drape the towel on your oven door, or fold a few towels and feature in a holiday basket.  You can also use this towel as large napkins for children.
Celebrating the winter season means preparing many hearty meals for your family and guest.  Protect your clothing from staining foods with a medium length winter wonderland apron.  This apron is styled right as it has three spacious pockets that will hold your cooking utensils and your recipe cards.  The apron is made from cotton –polyester blend.  You can throw it in the wash and it will look good as new.
