Behind the Scenes: How I Create Templates That Feel Personal

I specialize in creating customizable templates for greeting cards, invitations, stationery, and more. These aren’t generic layouts. Each template is built from original artwork I’ve designed using AI tools, my own photography, or collage art.

I create original artwork using AI tools, but every piece begins with my own prompt, vision, and design decisions. Whether it’s a watercolor-style composition, a collage, or a photographic overlay, the creative direction is entirely mine.

I treat AI like a brush not a substitute for creativity. The tools help me render the image, but the concept, the color palette, and the emotional tone all come from me.

Here’s what goes into each design:

• Original artwork: I use to create with public domain vintage holiday cards, but now I create the art myself whether it’s a photo, a digital painting, or a layered collage.
• Custom text placement: I decide where every word goes. I don’t rely on default settings. I adjust spacing, alignment, and font pairings to match the tone of the message.
• Color and font curation: I select ink colors and fonts that reflect the mood whether it’s joyful, solemn, romantic, or playful.
• Handwritten voice: I write my own greetings and invitation text. No filler. No copy-paste. Just words that resonate.

Templates may be editable, but they’re not impersonal. They’re designed with care, so customers can make them their own without losing the integrity of the original design.

I have ordered many greeting cards from Zazzle and have found that the cardstock quality is outstanding.  The printing of the artwork is better than what you see on the website. I have never received a card from Zazzle that I was not impressed with.

The bunny rabbit aprons will keep your clothes from getting dirty but unlike plain aprons, these are printed all over with darling bunny rabbits.

The rabbit-printed aprons that are Zazzle-made are adorable.  I have bought them as gifts for my niece and her girls and they have really liked wearing them to bake cookies with their mom and to wear when planting flowers.  My one niece loves to paint and her mom told me the aprons really helped in keeping the paint from getting on her clothes.

Update China Cabinet with Zazzle Craft Paper

  

Every year I decorate my China Cabinet for the holiday season and even when I used fairy lights, I thought it looked dark.  This year I updated the China cabinet with craft paper from Zazzle.com

 

Zazzle sells craft paper that can also be used to wrap your gifts.  Unlike the gift wrap paper that is sold at card stores, I found that the weight of Zazzle’s paper is perfect for crafts and for background décor displays.

 

I really like the premium weight of this paper, It's easy to work with and I found the presentation to be beautiful.

Elegant Vintage Christmas Tree Home Decorations

If you are like me and love vintage Christmas tree home decorations then you will like my new holiday products.

The design features a vintage candlelit Christmas tree with a faux embossed white snowflake background. Then I added an element in dark green with a gold border to highlight the metallic gold text “Merry Christmas”. I really like how this design turned out and think that it will compliment Christmas tree-designed china like the one by Spode or Lennox.

Light up Your Home with Lamp-In-a-Box

A few years ago Zazzle starting carrying Lamp-In-a-Box brand table, tripods and ceiling pendant lamps. These lamps all feature a designer created shade that is unique and never found at the mall. You can buy the lamp as shown with the designer shade or you can create your own lampshade by uploading your photographs or graphics.

Here is an autumn living space with a table lamp in the back by the tree. The shade has tree leaves and you can see that the compliments the decor.

Creating your own lamp from your photograph is a good way to match the wallpaper, drapes or other decoration in your home. All you have to do is take a photo and upload it to Zazzle to create your matching lamp.

A table lamp from Zazzle is a good way to light up a dark room or to coordinate a space. But you can also create a lamp for a special birthday, housewarming, new baby or bridal shower keepsake design.

Unlike the mall stores where you have to buy the base of the lamp as shown, Zazzle allows you to choose from two base colors, white or silver and you can also choose the fabric used on the shade. I bought the linen shade and loved the way the lampshade provided my space with soft light. The ambiance was very cozy.
