Recently
I created a few sunflower designs for a customer. She bought what
she needed and I really liked the color combination of yellow, white
and blue so I created additional collections using a watercolor
illustrated sunflower. The sunflower and navy blue collection
will complement a traditional home or a lake house beautifully.
Many
people decorate with sunflowers in the summer. When the flower
starts to bloom in late June and early July they will add the fresh-cut sunflowers to their kitchen and dining room by setting a bouquet of flowers in a vase in the center of their table.
Here
are a few of my sunflower designs. Pop
up your decor with home accessories that feature a cheerful sunflower

variety of coordinating accessories, gifts, and cards.
You
do not have to wait for summer to decorate. I find that this
cheerful flower that is the color of the sun will add warmth to your
kitchen on a cold winter day.
In
the winter months I will add silk sunflowers to a vase and will
decorate your kitchen with sunflower print table runners, plates,
dish towels and coffeemugs.
By
adding sunflower decorations to my kitchen is a good way to bring the
summer garden indoors. When there is a foot of snow on the ground
and the temperature is in the single digits it is nice to see the
pretty sunflower decorations in the kitchen.
