Spring Daffodil Bathroom Accessories

When you decorate your bathroom with colorful spring season daffodil floral bath towels, shower curtain, and other accessories  you will add a cheerful ambiance to your living space. 

 I like to add touches of cheerful yellow to my bathroom decor because coming out of the winter months that is exactly what is needed. Yellow is a positive color and gives good energy.  Here are a few of my bathroom designs

The winter has been long, snowy, and bitter cold. I am anticipating the spring season and today I am shopping online for spring-style daffodil flower bathroom accessories. The plan is to put an end to the winter blues by decorating my guest bathroom with pretty spring flowers. Flower decorations like yellow daffodils, tulips, and crocus will make the space feel warm like the sun.

While I love the colors yellow in a white bathroom I don’t want it to appear too yellow so I will accent the yellow color with red or purple because that is a good contrast and also a warm color. Both colors represent the spring flowers that are blooming in my gardens.

Pretty Spring Pattern Fleece Blankets

Your family and pets will appreciate the warmth and the coziness of a spring season fleece blanket.  The spring season can be chilly and when nights are cold it's a good idea to have a spring fleece blanket on your sofa and your bed. 

It is also a good idea to have a basket of blanket for your family and friends to use while sitting outdoors. We all enjoy sitting by the firepit on a spring night but if it is cool, it is cozier wrapped in a fleece blanket.

There are many fleece blanket that comes in solid pastel colors and a few generic prints at the mall shops but I found that the prints at Zazzle.com are fabulous. Zazzle offers a variety of spring patterns to choose from all have been created by an independent designer.

I have bought fleece blankets at Zazzle for my nieces and they both remarked at how luxurious they were and that the fleece was very soft. My one niece has had her blanket for three years and I saw it a few months ago draped over the backside of her sofa and this blanket looked new. The colors in the floral pattern never faced and the blanket had a cozy feel.

Zazzle offers three blanket sizes to choose from; small medium and large. Shop for the size blanket that fits your needs. I bought the medium size for my nieces and they told me that it looks nice on their twin-sized bed. They use it on top of their solid color comforter because they love the floral pattern.

5 Spring Home Decor Ideas

This morning I got a call from one of my friends who said that she wanted to decorate her home for the spring season. She preferred that the decorations be for adults. 

Normally my friend will set a vintage-style vase of tulips on the dining table and call it her spring decorations. This year her kids are visiting and she wants her home to appear more festive, cozy, and welcoming.

Her wants are simple decorations that will provide a look of spring but would not be expensive. She also wanted to decorate her home now and keep it throughout the spring season.

Here are a few simple decorating ideas

1. Create a spring-like entrance to your home by painting the foyer wall a pale yellow. This cheerful color is a natural way to add positive energy, make a small area look bigger and the color is complementary to all pastel colors.
2. Decorate this feature wall with a spring floral painting or framed poster. Add a foyer table with silk or fresh-cut spring tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, or lilacs. A spring-style figurine by Jim Shore would complement the arrangement or a pretty glass or crystal votive with a candle.
3. Add spring pastel color to your living room and guest bedroom by accenting your space with floral pattern throw pillows. Choose prints that are of flowers that bloom in spring. For example; a daffodil floral pillow (yellow, white, and green) would look fabulous with a yellow-white and green stripe pillow. Then add to the mix a solid yellow, or green color no print pillow. Three or more pillows would look eye-appealing. Choose from a variety of sizes as they will add interest to your decorations.
4. Spring weather can be cool and you may want to drape a seasonal pattern blanket on the backside of your accent chair or sofa. Pretty floral prints or colorful butterflies would look nice as long as the color of the blanket is the same as your color scheme.
5. Accent your front door with a silk spring season wreath and change out your doormat to one with a spring theme.

Let’s Decorate Kitchen with Spring Flower Accessories

I am in the mood for decorating for spring how about you?  The winter has been long, dark, and extremely cold which makes me ready for some cheerful daffodils and irises flower prints.  These spring floral patterned accessories will chase the winter blues away and make your kitchen décor feel cheerful and welcoming to your family and friends.

I don’t know about you but everyone hangs out in the kitchen at my house, so it makes perfect sense that this room should be decorated with spring focal points that are eye-appealing. Add a touch of spring by accenting your china cabinet, baker's rack, or hutch with pretty spring-themed plates, mugs, and other kitchen accessories.  Another way to make this room more festive is to add hand or kitchen towels and aprons as accents
