Pretty Spring Pattern Fleece Blankets

Your family and pets will appreciate the warmth and the coziness of a spring season fleece blanket.  The spring season can be chilly and when nights are cold it's a good idea to have a spring fleece blanket on your sofa and your bed. 

It is also a good idea to have a basket of blanket for your family and friends to use while sitting outdoors. We all enjoy sitting by the firepit on a spring night but if it is cool, it is cozier wrapped in a fleece blanket.

My one niece has had her blanket for three years and I saw it a few months ago draped over the backside of her sofa and this blanket looked new. The colors in the floral pattern never faced and the blanket had a cozy feel.

Christmas Home Decor Ideas

I love a white Christmas theme for my home because it reminds me of the winter season and the forest. I think home decorations that consist of the colors of white, silver, and green are the perfect colors for a winter white Christmas theme. The white represents the snow, the silver the ice, and the green is the color of the fir trees that are in the forest.

I have hiked in the forest when the snow was on the ground and came to a clearing where the fir trees had a dusting of snow on the branches and in the clearing was a herd of deer. It was the perfect setting for an enchanted winter wonderland.

Know that when you decorate your living spaces or bedroom with a winter white theme that when Christmas is over you would take down your tree and pack up your ornaments.  However, you can leave your garland with pinecones on your mantle and centerpieces.  Leave the winter decorations up throughout the season and they will make your home feel cozy.

Mosaic Pattern Home Decor

Why shop for the same solid color decorations when you can accent your home with colorful mosaic prints. Last week while visiting a neighbor we got to talking about bathroom accessories that would compliment a black color scheme. She told me that the shops at the mall seemed to offer the same patterns and prints and that she wanted something interesting.

That night I went through my photographs of stained glass windows and mosaics and found a photo that looked promising due to the color used in the design. I uploaded the photo and used the photo editor to mirror the image onto the product when all was said and done I loved the look of the bath towels and accessories as they would compliment a black color scheme bathroom beautifully. Plus the mosaic pattern would appeal to both men and women.

Many people enjoy decorating their Christmas tree with ceramic ornaments. Getting Ready to Decorate for Fall Season

Today the weather was cool and the drop in temperature, along with gray skies put me in the mood for getting my home ready for fall decorating. So I made a pot pumpkin coffee latte then lit a pumpkin spice candle to create fall ambiance and to get motivated to decorate.

Before I could attempt to decorate, I needed to organize my summer accessories and home accents. I pulled them all and set them on my dining room table, and then I wrapped in plastic bubble wrap and packed everything in storage containers for the garage. It took me all day to do this prep work and when all containers were out of sight I realized that the next step would mean a top to bottom cleaning to remove the dirt and the dust.

I was exhausted so I asked my husband to help me and he said he would clean the rugs and ceiling fans for me. I was hoping he would say he would clean the baseboard but thought it best to stay quiet.

Cleaning the house with your spouse is a whole lot better than doing it by yourself. Once my husband starts cleaning he is like a machine. He may not have done the baseboards but he did go into the kitchen and washed the dishes, cleaned up the counter and mopped the floor. (He is my hero)

When all was said and done we both sat on the couch and admired our housework. The room looked fresh and very clean. We are both motivated to decorate for fall and Halloween. My husband said he would do the outdoors and I get to decorate the interior.

Tomorrow I will get out my fall storage containers to see what I have and make a list of what I need. I know I will do some shopping this year for leaf pattern table runners, throwpillows and would like to pick up a fall pattern fleece blanket to toss over the backside of the sofa. Fall nights can be cool and the blanket will come in handy. I also would like to buy some paperplates and fall designed coffee mugs.

Well, I have a plan for tomorrow and think the day will be special because I will be doing autumn activities and crafts with my family. Do you decorate for the fall season?

I ordered the pillow with the zipper so I could wash it and I choose the polyester fabric. I set it on the sofa next to a solid color green pillow and no sooner than I set it down my husband grabbed it and put it behind his head. Since my husband was lying on the floor I tried to get him to use the other pillow, but he refused and told me that he liked the way the cat pillow felt. That it was not hard or scratchy feeling like the pillows I bought at the mall.

This cat pillow was designed from a photograph of a rescued cat named Buddy. Buddy was abandoned when his people moved away. We were able to catch him after he was beaten up. Buddy is deaf, and has a head injury that left him with limited eyesight. He is a great little cat and we love him so much.
